Oracle Data Integrator High Availability Setup With Out OHS/Software Load Balancer

As per my Understanding of Oracle Data Integrator J2EE agents High Availability Setup we need to have Webtire for Load Balancing across different Managed Servers ( in different APP Hosts) .

My Question is , is it possible to do the High Availability setup with out Software Load Balancer ?
I am planning to do the load balancing with a Layer-7 Hardware Load Balancer. HW Load Balancer will do the Load Balancing across different Managed servers in different APP Hosts .
