Hi,
I have this generic question related to Oracle's quarterly Critical Patch Updates (with respect to EPM components)-
Almost every quarter Oracle's CPU advisory includes multiple fixes that are applicable to different components used in an EPM environment including components like WebLogic, JDK, Oracle HTTP Server, etc., that are generally bundled with EPM. What is the strategy that everybody follows to keep our environments up-to-date with these security fixes? As against to protecting our environment, this process of patching will certainly require significant time, cost, testing, downtime, etc., and doing that on a quarterly basis may not become a realistic process. It could also introduce further problems when something goes wrong during the patching process increasing the risk associated with it. What can be some considerations here? Especially patching components like WebLogic, JDK, Oracle HTTP Server, etc.,
Thank you,
SS
