Oracle Connection Error for Sybase Ea Server 5.3
853222Apr 6 2011 — edited Apr 9 2011I am facing a problem while connecting to Oracle10G Database. Please help me in solving the below issue.
I am trying to connect Oracle10g database using Sybase EA Server 5.3 and iam facing problem through my Java application.
The connection cache in EA Server is pinging fine to Oracle10G Database but when i run the java application its throwing the below error
*** Warning *** Invalid Connection
I Added the OJDBC14.jar in EAServer\java\lib but still facing the error;
I am using JDBC driver and class name : oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver and URL : jdbc url :jdbc:oracle:thin:@server:1521:orcl(name changed).
Also tried chaning the jdbc driver (or) DLL or classname to oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleConnectionPoolDataSource and URl : ServerName=IP:Port=1521:DatabaseName=DBNAME:DriverType=thin
but no luck facing the same error.
