I apologize if this question has already been answered a thousand times, but I cannot get on with the matter of configuring the email delivery on the database (18.6 SE) in the could (on the VM) using APEX_MAIL.
I have already read through several documents - many of them deal with the configuration in the autonomous database. It is possible very simple there. In my case, if I understand correctly, I do have to download a certificate and create a wallet?
I would like to send the emails over the SMTP-Server in Frankfurt/Main (Germany).The Email Configuration ist following:
SMTP Sending Information
Server Name: smtp.email.eu-frankfurt-1.oci.oraclecloud.com
Port: 25, 587
Use Transport Layer Security (TLS): Yes
I have created an approved sender (noreply@mydomain.com).
Under APEX-Instance settings:
- SMTP Host Port: 25
- SMTP Authentication Username: ocid1.user.oc1.. ........
- SMTP Authentication Password: <password>

When I send an email with APEX_MAIL.send I get the error "ORA-29019: The protocol version is incorrect." in the APEX_MAIL_QUEUE.

Can I use this note to configure the email delivery in the cloud on the 18.6 SE database with APEX 20.1?
Under the section required files there is described, that I need a certificate for notification.us.oracle.com. At the end of this document are included three certificates. Can I use them, or do I need in my case the certificates for smtp.email.eu-frankfurt-1.oci.oraclecloud.com - if yes, where can I download them?
It would be great if there were official step-by-step instruction from oracle. Because you can find many documents on the Internet that are not necessarily correct and up-to-date...
