Greeting Community,
I have exhausted my Google Searching for an answer and/or supporting documentation.
I have a customer that runs 64-bit Windows Servers, with 64-bit Oracle databases.
And they connect a 32-bit application with a 32-bit Oracle client running on a 64-bit Windows 10 PC to these databases.
I have suggested that they remove the Oracle 32-bit client and install the Oracle 64-bit Client (which will be PC and Database friendlier) and that the 32-bit application will utilise the backward compatible 32-bit libraries that come with the 64-bit Oracle Client.
Am I correct?
Could someone provide supporting documentation?
Feel free to let me know that I am completely wrong ...
Cheers
Craig.
