Oracle Business rules 12c is part of Oracle SOA Suite 12c and Oracle BPM 12c. However, Oracle Business rules 12c provides Rules SDK Decision Point API to use it for standalone (Non SOA/BPM) scenarios.
Is it feasible to buy Oracle Business Rules 12c component as a standalone component like OSB 12c. i.e. though OSB 12c comes bundled with Oracle SOA Suite 12c, we could buy OSB12c as a standalone component(without BPEL, mediator…) as well?
If Oracle Business Rule 12c is available as a standalone component then the license cost will be less than Oracle SOA Suite 12c which can help in saving license cost .
