Oracle BPM Backup and Recovery best practices

847969Mar 18 2011 — edited Nov 1 2011
I am trying to find documentation on BPM Backup and Recovery. The BPM Admin guide only has one page relating to this process, and it defines things that should be backed up regularly but not best practices for doing so.

I have read up on auto config and rapid clone for Oracle Applications, but not sure that they apply here. Does BPM have anything like that?

Would RMAN be the best option for backing up the database? And if I wanted to set up a cloned or mirrored environment would RMAN be the best way to maintain that?

I am using Enterprise Database 10.2, BPM 10.3.1 and Weblogic 10.3.

Thanks in advance,

-Shannon
