Oracle BI Admin tool - icons and symbols

when I logged in to OBIEE admin tool....i wasn't able to see the icons and symbols....i used to be able to like they show in the tutorials. but all of a sudden when i logged in today...there were no icons for the folders, tables, columns, etc....there were just lines. does anyone here know how to bring the icons back?
