We are currently running in a configuration with a single Oracle instance (version 11.2) inside of a Veritas VCS cluster. The underlying storage is raw devices. Our ultimate goal is to migrate to an Oracle RAC cluster using ASM. However, as we are company of incremental changes and this is a critical business system, we are attempting to plan a series of incremental changes to go from where we are to where we want to be. We are considering migrating from raw devices to ASM as our first step. Has anyone configured an Oracle database to use ASM with Veritas VCS?
