Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,

I want to know what, can we compare ASP.NET with Oracle Application Express, in terms of
functionality provided by ASP.NET. I mean are the APEX providing the same features to developers
for building the web application which ASP.NET is also providing (Except DB connection).

For a newbie Web developer which already know sufficient about Oracle db should it learn ASP.NET
or APEX.

In a nutshell, Can a large scale Web application be easily built with APEX if it was previously built
with ASP.NET or even JSP etc

Needs suggestion from technology experts.
