Sharing a small Oracle APEX tip that helped improve Interactive Report performance.
Tip:
Avoid using complex PL/SQL functions directly in SELECT queries for Interactive Reports.
Instead:
- Use views or materialized views
- Pre-calculate values where possible
- Use proper indexing on report columns
Result:
Significant improvement in page load time and user experience.
