Oracle APEX and BPM integration

Does anyone know of a good example of APEX and BPM integration? My client is using SharePoint for an application with Nintex as a workflow engine and would like to move this application to APEX. I've done quite a bit of searching, but I can't find any really good examples explaining how to integrate these two products. Any help would be appreciated.
