Oracle APEX - ACL User Groups

Hello,

I am using the in built views for Access Controls: APEX_APPL_ACL_USER_ROLES. I have written queries on this to filter out records seen by end users based on their login. However this view is very slow and i see a big performance issue in my screen when this view is used.

Any idea or alternatives to this?
