Oracle 9i DataGuard Integration between UNIX and Win NT

Has anyone tried to use the latest Oracle 9i feature DataGuard to replicate an Oracle database from a UNIX platform to an Oracle WinTel platform ?

We need to use it soon and were wondering whether there was an issue with log files being generated on UNIX and then shipped to a Wintel workstation for re-read in SQL-Apply mode ?
