Oracle 9i client on Windows Server 2008

Anyone have any suggestions on installing the Oracle 9i client (ODBC, .net DP) on Windows Server 2008? I installed the 9.2.0.1 client, but the installer crashes quickly trying to aply the 9.2.0.7 patch.
