Hi, everyone! Can someone help with some advices for the issue below, please?
I am facing a problem while trying to install Oracle Database SAP Bundle Patch 19.30.0.0.260120 on Oracle 19c for Linux x86-64.
The error indicates that OPatch cannot find the files in the directory for patch 33xxxxxx under:
$ORACLE_HOME/.patch_storage/
Because of this missing files, OPatch cannot perform rollback validation for patch 33xxxxxx, and MOPatch skips the remaining patches and finishes as INCOMPLETE.
It looks like the Oracle Home is missing files inside .patch_storage, or the directory exists but is incomplete/corrupted/unreadable.
My questions:
- Is restoring the missing .patch_storage/33xxxxx* content from filesystem backup the only safe recovery option?
- If no backup is available, is the recommended approach to rebuild a fresh Oracle Home and reapply the SBP?
- Is there any Oracle-supported method to recover this situation without risking an inconsistent Oracle Home?
