Oracle 12C installation Windows 10 - unable to connect local Oracle DB using SQL developer

Hi All,

I had installed 12c version on Windows 10 machine. I had followed the instructions as per the Installation steps. However, as per the post installation verification step I am unable to connect local oracle database using SQL developer client. The SID is orcl . I do remember the administrative password of both the pre-defined accounts SYS & SYSTEM but I am unable to create/test the connection and says invalid username/password.

Is there any way I can retrieve/reset the password of these accounts. I googled but didn't get any appropriate answer.
