I am trying to install the database for Oracle 12c DB on Windows Server 2016 and the setup.exe keeps just closing without going further than the "display color check". I have tried reinstalling Java JRE and JDK, restarted the server several times, running as Admin, trying compatibility mode. Nothing seems to work here.
Looking at the log files all I see is this:
Using paramFile: C:\database\install\oraparam.ini
Checking monitor: must be configured to display at least 256 colors. Actual 4294967296 Passed
The number of files bootstrapped for the jre is 0.
The number of files bootstrapped for the oui is 0.
Not sure what I am missing here.
