Oracle 12.2 Client Install Problem

Hello,

I've a weird problem here, not encountered before.. Trying to install Oracle winx64 12.2.0.1 client on Windows Server 2012 R2. Ran Setup "as Administrator". I pass the pre-requisite checks fine, then I click on Administrator for the type of installation. It then hangs and hits 100% on my server's CPU. Any idea's why it could be hanging. I even tried setup - debug and the last line of text it prints is "peeking into the pipe" ! Only complication I can think of is theres a 12.1. client on there too, yet I've managed to install along side on other versions on other servers. I even tried Doc ID 2184131.1 to stop the OracleRemExecServiceV2. That didn't help...

Any ideas?
