Oracle 11gR2 x64/Win7 Enterprise x64 Uninstall residue in C:\Windows\winsxs

842271Dec 6 2011 — edited Dec 9 2011
After running the latest version of the Universal Installer to uninstall Oracle 11gR2 x64 on my Win7 Enterprise x64 machine, all the Oracle directories on C: and D: (the database drive), are gone. However, when I searched C: for "ora*", I found a bunch of (apparently) Oracle related files in C:\Windows\winsxs\,
like C:\Windows\winsxs\msil.system.data.oracleclient.resources.dll, for example.

Since I want a clean machine before I reinstall Oracle, do I need to worry/care about the files in C:\Windows\winsxs?

Thanks.
