Oracle 11g php y Ubuntu 12.04

Hi everyone,

I've installed linux.x64_11gR2_database on Ubuntu 12.04, which is an virtualBox vm on win7, i've followed this tutorial https://sites.google.com/site/francescopasturenzi/ubuntu/how-to-install-oracle-11g-r2-on-ubuntu-12-04, after the installation all look fine.

Then i've installed lamp server, i want to connect the php whith oracle database, all in local, i want to know if i need to install instant client, or what i need to do for connect it.
