Oracle 11G on Linux

491474Mar 26 2010 — edited Apr 5 2010
Hi,

I have installed Linux Fedora 12 on a Vmware Virtual Machine and I now wish to Install Oracle 11G on this Linux VM.

I have begun reading the Oracle 11G for Linux Installation Instructions and if I understand it correctly, I need to Install some software called Xterm on the Linux Server first, then Install Xterm on my windows xp workstation, then you get both Xterms talking to each other and away you go with the Oracle 11G Installation.

Have I read the Intsructions correctly? If not please enlighten me on how to Install Oracle 11G on Linux Fedora.

If it is where do I get the correct Xterm software and correct version for Linux?
