Oracle 10g XE Listener not starting

449323Jul 23 2006 — edited Jul 23 2006
On my Ubuntu 6.06 system I have installed Oracle 10g XE and up until I rebooted the system Oracle and apex worked fine, however since the reboot I am having issues with listener in that it is not starting. Please see the following.
sudo /etc/init.d/oracle-xe restart
Shutting down Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Instance.
Stopping Oracle Net Listener.

Starting Oracle Net Listener.
Starting Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Instance.

alf@firewall:~$ lsnrctl status

Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=IPC)(KEY=EXTPROC_FOR_XE)))
TNS-12541: TNS:no listener
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00511: No listener
Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory
Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=puppypad)(PORT=1521)))
TNS-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00515: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

Where can I alter the above mentioned HOST=puppypad to HOST=firewall? I did rename this machine from puppypad to firewall.
