oracle 10g on linux - ubunto

Hi,
I have installed oracle 10g on ubuntu and when I connect to sqlplus I have, every time, to set oracle_home and oracle_sid. also when I want to login I have to write the following : '/home/coco/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/bin/sqlplus'. Is it any way to login without this?
