Oracle 10g Lite and Delphi 2005 win32

Hi,

We want to develope a Delphi 2005 win32 application and we want to use Oracle 10g Lite as a local database for clients. The clients OS are Windows XP embedded and the local databases must be synchronized with a main database. As i read in OLite documentation the only way to connect a delphi application to Oracle Lite is via ODBC but our experience says that this is not a good way. Is any change a Delphi application to connect to Oracle Lite with DBExpress or ADO? Does anybody knows any third party VCL components for connection to Oracle Lite? Have anybody developed a delphi application with a connection to Oracle Lite by another way than ODBC?
