Oracle 10g Installation on Windows Server 2008 RC2

715738Aug 5 2009 — edited Apr 21 2011
Hello,

when i try to install Oracle 10g (10204) on a fresh Set up Windows Server 2008 RC2 i get an error Message.

It say's my Version is 6.1 and only Versions: 5.0,5.1,5.2 or 6.0 are valid.

On the other side i read that the Windows Server 2008 should be supported since Oracle Version 10204. (which i tried to install)

Or is it possible that just the quite new WS08 rc2 is not supported yet?

Got any idea what to do, or when it will be supported?

Ty
