oracle 10g error
hi , i installed oracle 10g and then i creatd users in it to install epm, but now the error has come up in started epm , and when i checked the log files , its because the oracle db can not be connected, i tried to log on in sqlplus with the command sys as sydba , but when connected it gives the message , connected to ilde instance. when i try to connect using the command sys@orcl as sysdba , it gived the error messages ora 12514 ,
now when i tried connecting with the user that i created it gives the error messages
ora 1034 and ora 24101.
now there are too many error messages i dnt know what exactly is the problem , i tried to check out and i found that this could be the problem because of oracle_sid is not set in envioronment varaibles.i dnt what to set in enviorenment variables , and which path to give in the oracle_sid to set in varaibles.
please help ,i am new in oracle so i dnt know what exactly to do ,in case you want me to look in any log files please give me the path of tha log files beacuse i dnt know where to find the log files.
the sid that i have used in oracle is orcl.
