Oracle 10g Developer Suite disk 2 not acceped by Installer

Ora-affSep 25 2010 — edited Sep 25 2010
I have downloaded two files from Oracle into drive D:

1. ds_windows_x86_101202_disk1
2. ds_windows_x86_101202_disk2

I extracted ds_windows_x86_101202_disk1 and it opened these folders and files: install, stage, wsf, wsf-fullinstall, setup

When i extract ds_windows_x86_101202_disk2, no additional folders or files open but during extraction it asks me disk.label already exists in D:\Stage, do you want to replace it. I say yes. So I assume extracting ds_windows_x86_101202_disk2 overrides files and folders in D:\Stage folder which is already created when i unzipped ds_windows_x86_101202_disk1.

Everything seems fine. Installation continues till 32% where the installer asks me to insert the disc 2 or specify the path name. I specify D:\Stage but it does not move ahead. I click on OK number of times but screen remains the same asking for disc 2.

What is wrong?

My System Specifications are:

Windows XP SP2
512 MB RAM
20 GB Free D:\ Drive

P.S: I resolved the swap memory hiccups successfully.
