Oracle 10g Client on SuSE Linux 10.1

Hi,

When I attempt to create an Inventory Group, using command:

# usr/sbin/groupadd oinstall

it never creates the file in /etc/oraInst.loc

I know SuSE Linux 10 isn't officially supported, but I've read posts indicating that it works. Could it be that I need a different sbin/groupadd file or something?
