ORA Error 1013 - Problem Connecting to Oracle Via ODBC

Dear guru's

I do have a problem connecting to Oracle Via ODBC. This was working fine since more than a year and now suddenly fails with an Ora - 1013 Error in some cases.

Here it the Test Scenario creaed by Application Developers for me to test!

CheckODBC/db1.mdb - This is the table linked via ODBC to the Ora table. "They says - Opening this table works fine. If then - filter on Year 2006 and Plant for

example - they are getting this error".

My question!
If i want to test this from my side How???

2) Is there way where i cant test from Database Side??

3)I found one Metalink Note ID 299604.1 which didnot work
