ORA-45301: XE Edition single instance violation error

I have XE running on a Virtual LINUX Redhat server. it is running on a rack mounted Blade and is accessible on our network.

I recently bought another duplicate system. I'm trying to install XE and when entering STARTUP I get the following error

ORA-45301: XE Edition single instance violation error

Can you help please?
