ORA-32000: write to SPFILE requested but SPFILE is not modifiable

Hi,

I was applying the 11.2.0.2 database patchset on a Solaris 10 server and during the ASM upgrade process I got the following error message from the rootupgrade.sh execution

ORA-32000: write to SPFILE requested but SPFILE is not modifiable
