"ORA-28002: The password will expire within x days" not showing up

Hi all,

I have got an account and it's expiring in a week (say 23Aug, today is 16Aug) . The profile i got for this account has a

PASSWORD_GRACE_TIME PASSWORD 10

But when i login using the account. there is no prompt of "ORA-28002: the password will expire within 10 days" showing up.
How can I check is there any problem in the database?

The database is 10g.
