ORA-28002 is not raised using ADO with Oracle OLE DB
620922Sep 27 2011 — edited Sep 27 2011We have created a test-user whos password is expired but innert the grace period (PASSWORD_GRACE_TIME). So we get the 28002 when we logon with TOAD (10.1.1.8) or SQLPLUS - but unfortunately not when the user logs on to our VB6 application. There is nor error being raised and the user logs on without any problems. Of course, if the password is then "really" expired, he get's the change-password dialog.
Does anybody know, how to get OLEDB work to raise this error?
