ORA-27091: unable to queue I/O

Dear buddies,

I am trying to startup my database and I couldn't. Getting this error. What could be the problem?

SQL> startup
ORA-27091: unable to queue I/O
ORA-27070: async read/write failed
OSD-04006: ReadFile() failure, unable to read from file
O/S-Error: (OS 38) Reached the end of the file.
SQL>

I am using Oracle 10g : 10.0.4 on Windows platform
