ORA-26026:initially in unusable state

Before running the batch the index was in VALID status. But while running the batch we got below error message.

Error while loading the file ORA-26026: unique index CALC.UK_SOFT_REVENUE_IMPORT_ODS initially in unusable state.

After getting the issue, we have rebuilt the index and reran the batch. But again we got same error message.

Please advise.
