ORA-20000: ORU-10027: buffer overflow limit of 1000000 bytes

Hi All,

Iam generating a report in perl using plsql. In my plsql iam using SET SERVEROUTPUT ON SIZE 1000000 & dbms_output.enable(10000000) , eventhough iam getting the below error.

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-20000: ORU-10027: buffer overflow limit of 1000000 bytes
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT" line 35
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT" line 198
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_OUTPUT" line 139
ORA-06512: at line 155

The data to be fetched is almost 9 MB.

Please help in fixing this.

The DB Version here used is Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0
