ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text: sbtwrite2: I/O error writing to file

Hi,

My rman backup is failing with this error. I am pretty new to databases and rman.

RMAN-03015: error occurred in stored script std_arch_log_bkup

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ORA_SBT_TAPE_2 channel at 10/28/2014 13:18:12

ORA-19502: write error on file "qdpm6gr3_1_1", block number 36865 (block size=512)

ORA-27030: skgfwrt: sbtwrite2 returned error

ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:

sbtwrite2: I/O error writing to file qdpm6gr3_1_1, errno = 11 bytes_written=65536

Any suggestions?
