ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition

Hello ODI community,

I am getting following error while loading data from a staging table to a fact/target table (oracle 11g):

Caused By: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-14400: inserted partition key does not map to any partition.

Has anyone experienced/seen this error before. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
