ORA-12805: parallel query server died unexpectedly

Hi ,

We are getting the following error in our database continously for many days.

Oracle version : 9.2.x

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [15709], [1], [1], [9], [], [], [], []
ORA-12805: parallel query server died unexpectedly

Can you please tell me how we can solve this issue

Is is not possible to shut the database for the parameter change ie parallel_max_servers
Pls advise
