ORA 1257 Cannot reuse error on database creation

When creating a database using 9i, RAC, and Suse 7.2, we
receive the following error each time at approximately 60%:

"ORAC 1257 Cannot reuse db_raw_temp, unknown file size"

This is using DBCA. Any ideas on how to work around this error?
