ORA-12543:TNS:destination host unreachable

Hi Gurus,

I have downloaded Oracle database R12c on my laptop. While installing, I selected to instal only the software. Later, I created a database using DBCA. While doing that, I get the error 'ora-12543: TNS:destination host unreachable'. My laptop has Windows Server 2008 R2.

Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated!
