ORA-12505, TNS: listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor

Hello All,

I have installed Oracle 12g Rev 2. I tried to connect from JDeveloper using HR Schema with Login and Password hr/hr. When I test the connection I get error

"ORA-12505, TNS: listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor". Request your help. Not sure where I should look for SID.

I am complete fresher for Oracle Database and JDeveloper. Appreciate your help.
