ORA-12170: TNS Connect timeout occured
826758Jan 22 2011 — edited Jan 22 2011I am having two databases (10g Rel 2 Windows) in diffrent locations, which needs to communicated each other (replications)
Both are having public ip and First Location having 2 MB wireless fiber optic speed, and Second location (remote place ) having 256 KPBS dedicated line.
TNSNAMES created by using public IP and now we are ble to ping the ip and also do the TNSPING
But while connecting throgh SQL it is giving "ORA-12170: TNS Connect timeout occured" Error.
DBLINK also able to connect but while accecing remote database same error is getting.
Kindly help me to get a solution to get connected.
