Hello,
I am installing Oracle EM 12c Cloud Control version 12.1.0.3. I have watched the video and I am following the instructions.
I have created a Repository database by using a database template that I downloaded from OTN (database version 11.2.0.3). I chose the database for small deployment.
After the Repository database was created, the following error keeps repeating in the database alert.log file:
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job "SYSMAN"."EM_ECM_VCPU_JOB"
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.EM_ECM_VCPU_COLLECTION", line 1432
ORA-06512: at line 1
The installation of the OMS software has not been started.
I see there is a Support Note ID 1570105.1 that addresses the same error in the Cloud Control console and is addressed by applying a patch in the OMS_HOME.
Can somebody please help me by answering:
1) Is the issue that I am experiencing the same as in the note 1570105.1?
2) Should I proceed with the OMS installation and then apply the patch, or is there a way to stop it now, before proceeding?
3) Will it be O.K. to just disable the job in question?
I think I have seen somewhere that the SYSMAN schema should not even be present in the Repository database prior to OMS installation; however, this is how it came from the database template.
