ORA-09925: Unable to create audit trail file

497390May 3 2006 — edited Sep 30 2010
Hi,
I've installed OracleXE on Linux (ArchLinux),
when I'm starting data base I get this error:

[root@myhost bin]# sqlplus -s /nolog
@/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/config/scripts/startdb.sql
ERROR:
ORA-09925: Unable to create audit trail file
Linux Error: 13: Permission denied
Additional information: 9925
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

ORA-10997: another startup/shutdown operation of this instance inprogress
ORA-09967: unable to create or open lock file
Linux Error: 13: Permission denied

Q: Where can I find path to audit trail file, I want to find out this dir.

Any one have experience in installing Oracle on non-debian or-non-red-hat or non-suse distro? Thanks for any tips.
