Hello Gurus,

I am getting below error when I try to login to DB. DB version 11.2.0.3, server AIX.

sqlplus / as sysdba

SQL*Plus: Release 11.2.0.3.0 Production on Mon Apr 8 13:08:39 2013

Copyright (c) 1982, 2011, Oracle.  All rights reserved.

ERROR:
ORA-09817: Write to audit file failed.
IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 28: No space left on device
Additional information: 12
ORA-09945: Unable to initialize the audit trail file
IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 28: No space left on device

I went to see audit location which has enough space.

Filesystem    GB blocks      Free %Used    Iused %Iused Mounted on
/dev/var_opt_audit      6.00      4.75   21%   225253    16% /var/opt/oracle/audit

I am not sure what the issue is and I don’t see DB process.
