ORA-07445: exception [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [__intel_new_memset+1 10.2.0.1 DB

550546Jun 26 2009 — edited Jun 26 2009
Hi all,

We received this error on our 10.2.0.1 db and then a couple more errors appeared followed by a db crash ( windows service aborted )...

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [__intel_new_memset+1100] [PC:0x64327DC] [ADDR:0x0] [UNABLE_TO_WRITE] []
...
ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:spcdr:9261:4200 failed with status: 997
ORA-27301: OS failure message: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
ORA-27302: failure occurred at: skgpspawn

Any ideas if this error was spawned from an internal problem or was caused externally by a looping process.
What can possible cause this ?

Details: 10.2.0.1 on Windows 2003 R2 server

Thx
