ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4048 bytes of shared memory

Hi

Oracle version : 10.2.0.1.0
I am getting the below error in my alert log..

ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 1
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4048 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap(1,0)","library cache")
ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.EMD_MAINTENANCE", line 48
ORA-06512: at "SYSMAN.EMD_MAINTENANCE", line 936
ORA-06512: at line 1

Please let me know why this error coming? and what i should do about this?
