JaffySep 30 2008 — edited Oct 7 2008
Hi,

Whenever User tries to login to a database he encounters a below problem. Now this is SGA fragmentation problem. Restart of database would avoid this error, is there any other solution so that i can avoid this error without restarting the database.

ORA-04031: unable to allocate 312 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap(1,0)","kgl lock hash table state").

thanks ad regards
